Argentina: Internet portals seek to expand business.

Internet portals are seeking to expand their businesses in Latin America playing as Internet Service Providers. Such is the case of Starmedia, that soon will offer Internet services in Brazil, and up to

1999 in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, and Mexico. The Argentinean portal El Sitio acquired the Internet access service from Impsat in Argentina, Brazil, and Colombia, and in another move acquire Mandic, one of the largest ISP in Brazil.
