A Brave Aberdeen man who battled disability from birth has diedaged 37.
Ever-cheerful Ali Mackie was determined to lead as full a life aspossible.
A victim of cerebral palsy, a twisted spine and epilepsy, headored weekly discos and drama groups.
His mum Margaret said: "He was my only child and he was perfect tome. Ali was a fighter right from the moment he was born.
"He accepted the way he was and just got on with things - alwayswith that special smile."
Ali was starved of oxygen during his difficult birth. Twice he wasput on a ventilator but each time he stopped breathing when he wastaken off.
