TeliaSonera AB has agreed to sell Apple Inc.'s iPhone in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, the Nordic telecom operator said Tuesday.
In a one-sentence statement, the Stockholm-based company said it would start selling the combined iPod-cell phone-Internet device in the Nordic and Baltic countries later this year.
TeliaSonera spokesman Jan Sjoberg declined further comment, saying additional details would be given at a later date.
Earlier this month, Apple signed a similar deal with French wireless operator Orange for it to be the exclusive provider in Belgium and Romania.
